Splints
Splints are used to protect tooth surfaces, manage mandibular jaw
disfunction, and stabilize occlusion or create space prior to
restoration procedures. People prone to nocturnal bruxism, or
nighttime clenching, should routinely wear occlusal splints.
The Occlusal Splint is the most widely used TMJ Splint. Full
coverage acrylic provides support of both arches while opening the
bite to align and relax the joint and surrounding tissues.
Cuspid rise disclusions for anterior excursions are included.
Our Splints are made of tough thermoplastic. The acrylic is trimmed
to a horseshoe shape and is contoured for maximum patient comfort.
